Abstract
This paper describes the use of next-generation firewalls, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
As more systems and services move to the cloud, there is a growing need for security solutions that are more flexible and scalable than traditional firewalls. The paper presents the main features of cloud-based firewalls, including how they are used, how they can be configured, and the different types available. It also points out some of their main advantages, such as easier management and better adaptability to modern network environments. In addition, the paper includes a comparison between traditional and cloud-based firewalls, highlighting the key differences and benefits of each approach. The aim is to give a clear and practical overview of cloud-based firewalls and their role in today’s IT infrastructure.
